Miscellaneous Championship of the Calontir Bardic College following the Fireworks in the Bard's Encampment
Battlefield Inspections Battles sponsored by the Fiber Guild    Battle of the Pastures -- A battle scenario that pits the shepherds of the Mesta against mobs of angry villagers.   2 teams, 1 hour resurection.

Team 1: the Mesta Shepherds -- There will be 4 or 5 shepherds in charge of their own "flock". Each shepherd gets to choose 3 "dogs" to help defend their flock. Each shepherd can have up to 10 "sheep". Shepherd gets weapon style of their choice and unlimited Ressurections.  Dogs get a spear / great weapon and unlimited resurrections
Sheep get a single sword and can only resurrect after each 15 minute hold. Sheep can not move from resurrection point until herded by either the shepherd or the dogs.

Team 2: Angry villagers -- Each team of villagers is restricted to fighting around their designated pastureland. May or may not be unlimited resurrection, and may or may not have limitation on their weapons style.
Children's Tournament  All Fighters must be sponsored by a child in order to fight -- Start sucking up to the kids early, sponsorship goes fast and they drive a hard bargin

Archery Range Range Opens 100 Arrow Shoot sponsored by Ms. Lynette runs all day Archery Competition sponsored by the Silk Road Travelers  -- Now that we have set the scene with the Battle of Acre, we will take that one further in our archery scenario.  The crusaders, having won the battle, and taken over the castle will now have to defend it from the Saladin horde.  Through the castle windows they will have to take aim and lay low any heathen they see out upon the fields, just waiting to slash them down with their weapons.  (Extra points given if they miss the camel and dancers.)  Those that lost will be shooting into the castle.  Each side will shoot a limited number of arrows, with each side shooting twice. This will require that the archery scenario take place after the fighting scenario has concluded. Range Closed for Lunch Thrown Weapons Competition sponsored by Einarr
Youth/ Adult Archery Competition Sponsored by Baron Jon and HL Roselyn  Team consists of one youth archer and one adult archer
Youth archer shoots 4 arrows for score
Adult archer shoots 2 arrows for score

Cook's Guild Tent Basic Dutch Oven Cooking by Ld Robert of Lector Easy Camp & Tourney Foods By Lady Genevieve Best "Cooked on Site" Competition                                        Entries are limited to foods cooked on-site.  Nothing pre-prepped at home.  Scoring will favor items cooked using period ingredients, period recipes and/or period methods/materials.  No formal documentation required, just come to the cook’s guild tent with your finished dish and tell the judges about your process.

Anyone, youth or adult, is welcome to enter. The entry must be one skein of spun fiber that was spun using a drop spindle. The entries will be judged on uniformity of intended thickness, periodness of fiber and spindle, amount of fiber spun, and intended use. The judging will be friendly and casual face to face discussion. Extra credit if the skein was spun at the war but it does not have to be. Prize given to first place.
