Event Flyer Templates | |||
|
If you must create an event flyer for The Mews and you aren’t quite sure what you want or how it should look, one of the eight event flyer templates listed below might help. These templates were created in Microsoft Word and can be changed or adapted to fit your needs. They have been created at the correct size for The Mews – 4.5 inches wide by 7.5 inches long. If the text in the template is spaced strangely or runs to a second page when you open the template, check your page margins. Under File, go to Page Setup and make sure your left and top margins are 0.5 inches (all four margins should be 0.5 inches for the two-page flyers). If you use one of these templates to create your event flyer, you can change the type style and size, the spacing, location of information and artwork or borders used. The eight templates are designed to give you an idea of where to put your information and how it will look there. Add your event artwork, or your local group’s arms, or whatever artwork fits the flyer. If you have problems changing the example artwork in the template to the artwork you wish to use, contact the chronicler at [email protected] or 913-541-1950. Don’t want to use one
of these templates? No problem. You can continue to create and submit
unique flyers for your events. Just remember your size restrictions and
make sure you include all the information necessary to make your flyer
official. See the Mews
Flyer Design Guidelines
Don’t use Microsoft Word? Most open-source programs will open Word documents and allow you to save your finished flyer as a Microsoft-compatible file. If not, contact the chronicler. She can send you a template saved in Open Office.
Remember, you don’t need to use one of these templates. These were designed to help event stewards create good-looking flyers with a minimum of work. Ly. Lorraine Devereaux |
