Dean's Challenge: Spring! | Lady Moira Apthac ingen Neill | Write either a poem or a song pertaining to Spring! Once again I would like to see you writing from your persona's unique perspective and if at all possible incorporating things that are very Calontiri. |
Creative Anachronism | Master Dolan Madoc | Perform an original piece (poem, story, song, etc...) that has at least one element that is period and at least one element that is not. (Examples of elements: literary style, subject matter, language, muscial form, or anything else you might wish to try) |

Tongue Twister | Lady Jeahnette Mountjaux | Construct a tongue twister with a period or current middle ages theme and challenge the audience to repeat your tongue twister five times quickly. |
The Peaceful Arts | Lady Isolde de Lengadoc | Compose/perform a story, song, or poem about the non-martial activities of period. |
Authenticity's Delight | Lady Hanne Abendschein | Read/perform a period piece of poetry or prose. May be read or memorized, spoken, not sung. English translated and/or original language. Depending on time and number of participants, we could discuss our process of finding the piece and preparing it. |

3 of a Kind | Lord Vilhjalmr half-troll | Create a piece with the three major elements of the bardic arts. It should include story, verse and song. |
Honor the Archers | Lady Lora Ann Ros | Compose and perform a new song about archers or archery. |

Whose Knight Is It, Anyway? | Honorable Lord Rhodri ap Hywel | This challenge is all about improvisation. Some of the games that might happen are: Scenes from a Helm -- All who attend feast will have the opportunity to answer such topics as "SCA songs written by Michael Jackson" and "Things you’ve always wanted to say to Fernando." SCA Superheroes -- This will be for the primary contestants, about superheroes that really should exist, like Duct Tape Man!!!! Morality Play Styles -- Beowulf in Film Noir? You betcha. Let’s Make a Pennsic Date -- Quirky people meet at quirky places. Whose Line -- Random phrases that the contestants will have to say at some random point in an appropriate (or non-appropriate) conversation. |
